Living & Learning Nillumbik offers a wide range of short courses, social activities and nationally recognised qualifications training. We develop relationships with local township organisations, employers, businesses and individuals to make sure that our activities and training meet their specifications. Living & Learning Nillumbik continues to work with local government, and people and organisations in our communities in order to provide Learn Local opportunities to people in our region. Our trainers are highly experienced in their subject field, and have a genuine care for their learners, and whilst many of our Short Courses tutors are paid for their work, a large number volunteer their time and expertise to support skill-sharing and community connection. As the Registered Training Organisation arm for Nillumbik Shire Council (RTO 3989) we deliver the Diploma and Certificate III in Children's Services, Certificate III Aged Care and Home and Community Care, Certificate IV in Disability Work, Certificate IV Training and Education (TAE), and a variety of employment-related courses. Hundreds of graduates from our qualifications courses have moved on to employment, and many people have found friendship and support through their involvement with Living & Learning Nillumbik.
