Kids Judo Thursdays 5:30pm -6:30pm Young adults Judo Thursdays 6:30pm-7:30pm Senior Judo and BJJ grappling training Sunday 12 noon- 2pm. Judo Coach: Jonas Gaversjo. N.E.M.J.A. teaches judo to their junior classes because it has the best martial arts instructional pedagogy procedures for junior beginners and intermediates in martial arts without kicks or punches. History of the sport: The founder of Judo Jigaro kano studied several martial arts and integrated what he deemed the safest and best of the fighting techniques into a sport where full combat could be fought with minimal risk of injury. N.E.M.J.A teaches a beginners kids class from the age of 4 -5 years old, and has a separate group for young adults (11+). Judo is a great sport for juniors to learn from a young age and as an anti-bullying sport as it has no Kicks or punches and it can be pursued right through to Olympic level. N.E.M.J.A. Judo has senior training sessions on Sundays at 12 noon- 2pm for functional fitness training and standing and groundwork grappling with the coach incorporating teaching incorporating Judo and BJJ backgrounds. Judo is a great sport to learn if you are thinking of a self defense sport, martial art or grappling sport teaching both standing and ground fighting techniques critical to Mixed Martial Art training. In judo you use your opponents force and momentum against them to force them to the ground. Beginners- Advanced welcome! First training session free! Why Judo?
